Chadderton properties
Chadderton sits between Failsworth and Royton, straddling the M60. The housing is a proper mix - Victorian terraces around Chadderton Hall Park, 1930s semis on the estates off Burnley Lane, and newer builds towards Foxdenton. Each needs a different approach.
The terraces along Broadway and Middleton Road typically suit 3-4kW systems. With roofs running parallel to the street, you'll often get east and west slopes rather than south-facing - but that's not a problem. Panels on both sides generate more total energy and match when you actually use electricity (mornings and evenings) rather than producing everything at midday.
The semis have more roof space - usually room for a 4-6kW system. If you've got a south-facing rear roof, that's ideal, but we work with whatever orientation you've got.
M60 commuters
Chadderton's M60 access is one of its big selling points. If you're commuting by car, adding an EV charger alongside solar makes the economics even better. Charge from your panels in summer, from cheap overnight rates in winter. Your daily fuel cost drops from pounds to pennies.

Fitted 3 batteries and Invertor very professional and friendly

Brilliant! Super professional, inspected the house, highlighted what needed doing the instead of leaving it there, they went out the way to hop to the shop get the part and install it so I could have the full report and everything sorted that day. 100 recommend!

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

Renegade Electricals - Exceptional service!
In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening. RECOMMENDED!
