Renegade Solar in Prestwich

Renegade Solar is based in Prestwich, and most of the work we do is within ten or fifteen minutes of the front door. Ashley runs the company himself, doing surveys, designing systems and managing installs across solar, battery, EV charger and general electrical work.

Whichever job you're after, the same person who turns up for the survey will be the one designing the system, overseeing the install and answering the phone if there's a question afterwards.

Some of the less usual jobs start from here as well. Ashley recently helped with the design and installed the solar for the University of Manchester's Travelling Power Station, a mobile community energy trailer now starting a run of visits. It is different from a house roof, but the same electrical thinking still applies: the system has to be designed around how people are actually going to use it.
