We provide solar panel and battery installations throughout Radcliffe. We're based about fifteen minutes up the road in Prestwich, so getting out for a survey isn't an issue, and there are no travel charges on top.

Radcliffe's housing stock is fairly typical of the towns around North Manchester. The terraces near the town centre go back to the late Victorian and Edwardian period - a lot of them were built for mill workers when Radcliffe was a cotton town. These properties commonly have slate roofs and decent south-facing aspects, though we sometimes need to work around chimney stacks and older roof structures.
The post-war semis spreading out from the centre have more straightforward roof access and typically more space for panels. East-west roof orientations are common on these, and we often design split arrays across both slopes - the generation is spread more evenly through the day rather than peaking at midday, which can actually work better for households where people are in during the afternoon and evening.
The newer estates on the edges of Radcliffe tend to be the most straightforward installations. The roof structures are modern, the consumer units are generally up to current standards, and there are fewer surprises when we get up there.
Solar performance in Radcliffe

Fitted 3 batteries and Invertor very professional and friendly
From the start he was extremely friendly, knew what he was talking about and we agreed a price, he came did the job it took longer than he expected but he didn't complain he took his time to finish the job and came back next day to help set it up, I was thoroughly impressed

Brilliant! Super professional, inspected the house, highlighted what needed doing the instead of leaving it there, they went out the way to hop to the shop get the part and install it so I could have the full report and everything sorted that day. 100 recommend!

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

Renegade Electricals - Exceptional service!
In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening. RECOMMENDED!
