EICR Electrical Safety Inspections in Blackley
We do EICR electrical safety inspections across Blackley at £150 plus VAT for any domestic property, with the certificate issued the same day. We're based just down the road in Prestwich.
Blackley properties
Blackley has a mix of older terraced housing, council-built properties, and more recent developments. For landlords
Landlords need an EICR every five years plus one for each new tenant. Fines for non-compliance run up to £30,000, and the local authority can have remedial work carried out and bill it back to you. Existing tenants need the report within 28 days; new tenants get it before they move in.
For buyers
Get an EICR before money changes hands. If we find issues like an outdated consumer unit or inadequate earthing, you've got a basis for negotiating the purchase price, or for walking away from a job that's not what you thought you were buying.
What's included
The inspection covers a full visual check of wiring, sockets, switches and the consumer unit, then calibrated technical testing for continuity, insulation resistance, earth fault loop impedance and RCD operation. The certificate and report are issued the same day. If we find work that needs doing, we can quote for that and schedule it in.

Fitted 3 batteries and Invertor very professional and friendly

Brilliant! Super professional, inspected the house, highlighted what needed doing the instead of leaving it there, they went out the way to hop to the shop get the part and install it so I could have the full report and everything sorted that day. 100 recommend!

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

Renegade Electricals - Exceptional service!
In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening.
