We're an Octopus Energy Trusted Partner, installing their full EV charger range. These smart chargers wait for cheap rates before charging - you plug in, they sort the timing. On Octopus Go that's 7.5p per kWh overnight.
If you're running Solax or AlphaESS solar or battery systems, we fit their chargers too. They integrate with their own equipment nicely.
Bought a different charger already? No problem. We'll install whatever you've ordered.
The Install
Chargers are weatherproof units that can go wherever suits your parking - garage wall, house wall, outside. Cable runs from your consumer unit to the charger. If that means going outside, we use heavy duty armoured cable built for it.
Jobs get done in a day, mess is kept minimal. Your consumer unit needs to meet current standards - if you've had solar or battery work done, it'll be fine. Even without solar, you can get a time-of-use tariff for cheap overnight car charging.

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening. RECOMMENDED!
