Installation Details
We can get your charger installed in a day. They're all weatherproof units, so mounting them outside is no issue - garage wall, house wall, wherever suits your parking. Cable needs to run from your consumer unit to the charger, and if that means going outside, we use heavy duty armoured cable designed for it.
Minimal mess, quick turnaround. Your consumer unit needs to be up to current standards, but if you've already got solar panels or a battery, it'll be sorted. Even if you don't have solar kit, you can still get on a cheap overnight electricity tariff for car charging.
What We Install
Running Solax or AlphaESS solar and battery gear? We fit their chargers - they work well together. We're also an Octopus Energy Trusted Partner, which means we install any of Octopus's EV chargers. Those are smart - they wait for cheap rates before charging your car automatically.
Prefer a different charger? Order what you want and we'll fit it.
Why a 7kW Charger
A standard granny charger (the ones that plug into a normal socket) takes all day to charge your car. You'll be paying daytime electricity rates for most of it. A proper 7kW charger gets the job done overnight during the cheap window. Wake up to a full battery without paying through the nose.

Fitted 3 batteries and Invertor very professional and friendly
From the start he was extremely friendly, knew what he was talking about and we agreed a price, he came did the job it took longer than he expected but he didn't complain he took his time to finish the job and came back next day to help set it up, I was thoroughly impressed
New solar & battery unit

Brilliant! Super professional, inspected the house, highlighted what needed doing the instead of leaving it there, they went out the way to hop to the shop get the part and install it so I could have the full report and everything sorted that day. 100 recommend!

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

Renegade Electricals - Exceptional service!
In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening. RECOMMENDED!
