The Installation
Chargers are weatherproof so they can go outside. Garage wall, house wall, wherever suits your parking. If we need to run cable from your consumer unit round to the charger, we use heavy duty armoured cable that's designed for outdoor installation.
Install's done in a day, mess is minimal. Your consumer unit needs to be up to current standards, but if you've had solar or battery work done, it will be. You don't need solar to get cheap overnight electricity though - time-of-use tariffs are available to anyone.

Solar installation
We were looking for an off grid solar installation for our allotment. Renegade gave us a very good quote for the job and so we chose them. This turned out to be a great decision. Ashley did a site inspection and we tweaked the initial design to better suit our location. The installation went ahead on the planned date and the work was completed to a very high standard. We had some additional work carried out at the same time, some due to Ashleys recommendation (e.g. swapping our lighting for LED). I highly recommend Renegade as a trustworthy and competent company.

In a word...outstanding! Renegade Electricals installed a 10 panel PV system with battery/inverter for us and we're extremely happy with it. Ashley was easy to deal with, reassuring and very professional providing full documentation and keeping us informed throughout the process. His customer service was exceptional and technical knowledge formidable. The panels, even in winter in the grim/grey north west, are producing impressive stats and its great entertainment watching the Alpha-ESS app showing the panels filling the battery up during the day, then discharging in the evening.
